On June 12, 2018, in Kiev, Hi Tech Office Ukraine, a working group of leading manufacturers of system solutions in the field of public safety on the implementation of System 112 in Ukraine with the participation of representatives of HiTech Office Ukraine, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, MonTex, WiseIt, mobile operators Vodafon, Kyivstar, PJSC “Ukrtelecom”, as well as NGO “Challenge 112”, IDLO, Hilgrup. The meeting was attended by Acting Director of the government agency “Government Contact Center” Elena Antonenko.
In the event, the company MonTeX presented materials on the topic “Experience of creating a single operational dispatch service 103 in the Dnipropetrovsk region.” During the presentation, the following issues were outlined: general principles of service organization 103 in the region; integration with other systems, etc.
Acting Director of the Governmental Contact Center, Elena Antonenko, focused the attention of those present on the issues of expanding the possibilities of this system of emergency assistance to the population, taking into account the needs of citizens with disabilities.
Also, proposals were made by mobile operators regarding the most optimal technical and legal organization for interaction with service 112. Representatives of subunit 112 of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine reported on current events in the emergency services to the population at a single free emergency call number 112.
According to the results of the meeting, it was decided to include in the working group representatives of the government agency “Government contact center” and a predefined date for the next meeting of the working group – June 26, 2018.
